Posters print on 250 gsm uncoated off-white archival stock: uncoated, so there is no gloss and nothing reflects back off it. Framed prints sit in a wood frame, black or natural wood, behind a plexiglass front, not glass. Canvas is stretched over a 2 cm wooden frame and hangs without glass.

No. Our rule is that real liveries, marque logos, rider likenesses and race branding stay out of the catalogue, and a piece that breaks it comes off sale. Our Race Day posters celebrate fictional races, and our blueprints study the shape of the machine, not any manufacturer's drawings.

We measure your photo's pixels against each print size before you pay, and grade it excellent, acceptable or blocked. The floor is 140 dpi once the image is cropped to the shape of the print; below that we don't sell it. A 12-megapixel phone photo comfortably covers A3 and usually A2.

Each print is made to order. Orders typically arrive within four to nine days, and priority delivery brings that to three to six.

If your order arrives damaged or wrong, we reprint or refund: photos to hello@throttlefolio.com as soon as you can. Within 30 days of delivery you can reject it for a full refund, and the Consumer Rights Act 2015 still covers you after that. Artworks from the shop can be returned unused within 14 days of delivery if you change your mind; you pay the return postage. Prints made from your own photo are made to your specification, so they can't be returned for a change of mind once production starts (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, reg 28(1)(b)).
