About Throttlefolio

Throttlefolio is an independent UK studio making original motorcycle art. Not photos of other people's bikes, not bootleg race posters — artwork drawn, composed and rendered for print, for people who think a wall without a motorcycle on it is unfinished.

The catalogue runs to twenty originals across four series: Great Roads, travel posters for the UK rides that earn the petrol — Applecross, Hardknott, the Cat and Fiddle, the NC500, Snake Pass; the Cafe Racer ink drawings; Race Day, vintage racing posters for races that never quite happened; and The Machine, blueprint studies of the five shapes every rider argues about — cafe racer, scrambler, bobber, adventure, classic single.

On originality, we're strict with ourselves: every piece is ours from the first line. We never reproduce real liveries, marque logos, rider likenesses or race branding — partly because it's right, mostly because original work hangs better. When we need to get a fuel tank's shoulder line correct, we go and look at the real thing — the National Motorcycle Museum and the Vintage Motor Cycle Club have forgotten more about these machines than we'll ever know.

And because the best subject is the bike in your own garage: The Paint Shop turns a photo of your machine into artwork in one of eight styles — previewed free, rendered at full resolution only when you order. Or we'll print your photo exactly as it is, after checking it honestly against every size we sell.

Every print is made to order in the UK — nothing warehoused, nothing binned, no waste. Prices include UK VAT and tracked delivery.
